INGREDIENTS& 2 teacups chopped rehydrated pitted prunes; 1 egg; 1 1/2 teacups of flour; 1/2 teacups white sugar; 1/2 teacup milk; 3 tablespoons brown sugar; 1 teaspoon baking powder; 1 teaspoon cinnamon; butter for the muffin cups PREPARATION: Preheat oven and butter muffin cups; whisk together the egg, sugar, flour with the baking powder mixed inside; add milk stirring until properly combined; add the prunes; stir to obtain a homogenous batter; pour into muffin cups and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top; baked at medium heat for approximately 30 minutes; cool before removing the muffins from the cups. While the days are still hot and fresh plums are availabe at the market we propose to you this easy recipe for PLUM LEMONADE.
You will need:
the squeezed juice of 2 yellow lemons;
10 - 12 fresh plums without pit;
2- 3 spoonfuls of sugar (sugar depends on the personal taste);
20 leaves of fresh mint;
water - sparkling or still]
ice.
The pitted plums, lemon juice, mint leaves and sugar are turned into a puree by means of a mixer or a blender. The puree is tried and if not sweet enough - more sugar is added and the mixture is blended again. The puree is then filtered through a sieve and water is added until the desired consistency is reached. The plum lemonade is served over ice cubes.

Ingredients:
1 kg of fresh plums
100 grams of butter
1 teacup of flour
1 teacup of sugar
4 eggs
1 baking powder
1 pack of vanilla sugar
powder sugar for sprinkling
Preparation:
Choose ripe plums and cut them into halves. Remove the stones.
Sprinkle with 100 grams of melted butter and put the halves with the face down into a baking form. Slightly bake in the oven.
Separate the yolks from the whites of the 4 eggs.
Use a mixer for mixing the egg yolks with the sugar and the baking powder.
Sieve the flour and add it slowly to the egg and sugar mixture.
Use a mixer for mixing the egg whites until they turn into hard snow and carefully add them with a spoon to the flour and sugar mixture. Stir slightly until homogenos.
Spread evenly the mixture over the plums and bake at 180 deg. C until ready.
Turn the cake upside down and after it has cooled down sprinkle the powder sugar over its surface.
